On July 16, the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for the High-quality Development of Manufacturing in Zhenjiang City (Expert Review Draft)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan") expert review meeting was successfully held in the teleconference room on the eighth floor of the Zhenjiang Municipal Government. Leaders and experts from Jiangsu Academy of Social Sciences, Jiangsu Strategy and Development Research Center, Jiangsu Economic and Information Technology Research Institute, Zhenjiang Industry and Information Technology Bureau, and Institute of  Industrial Economics of Jiangsu University participated in the review meeting.

At the meeting, Professor Hu Xuhua, Dean of the Institute of Industrial Economics of Jiangsu University, as the leader of the "Planning" preparation team, introduced the entire preparation process of the scientific research team from in-depth enterprise research in the early stage to extensive mid-term demonstration and discussion, and then to multiple reviews and revisions in the later stage. The main content of each chapter is introduced, and the industrial layout of Zhenjiang City such as the "four groups and eight chains" is elaborated in depth. Subsequently, the review experts fully affirmed the preparation of the "Plan", and at the same time proposed amendments to the guiding ideology, strategic positioning and target setting of Zhenjiang's manufacturing high-quality development. Finally, the leaders of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology expressed their heartfelt thanks to the experts for their efforts in the high-quality development of Zhenjiang's manufacturing industry!

The successful holding of this review meeting not only provided an important reference for the final draft of the "Fourteenth Five-Year" Manufacturing High-Quality Development Plan of Zhenjiang City," and also provided Zhenjiang City closely with the national and provincial strategies for high-quality manufacturing development. The goal is to clarify the important mission of "strive to be an example, strive to be a demonstration, and be at the forefront", and the city's "three highs and one striving" major mission, and propose an effective path for the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry.
