On the afternoon of October 20th, our school held the promotion meeting of the outstanding innovation team research plan of ‘Low-Carbon Economy and Industrial Development’ in Philosophy and Social Sciences in Jiangsu Province. Professor Zhang Jijian, member of the Standing Committee of the School Party Committee, Vice President, and leader of the ‘Low Carbon Economy and Industrial Development’ innovation team, Professor Ma Guojian, Director of the Social Sciences Division, Dai Yelin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Finance and Economics, and all members of the team participated in the promotion meeting. The meeting was chaired by Professor Hu Xuhua, Dean of the Institute of Industrial Economics.

Professor Hu Xuhua first introduced the scientific research and innovation achievements made by the team members in 2021, and put forward team building goals and tasks, annual quantitative indicators, promotion ideas and measures, and work priorities and difficulties.

The team leader, Vice President Zhang Jijian, focused on how to cultivate top international academic achievements, win national scientific research awards, apply for high-level talent projects, expand academic exchange channels, collaborative innovation and joint construction platforms, and enhance the team's domestic and foreign academic influence ,put forward clear guidance and specific requirements.

Director Ma Guojian of the Department of Social Sciences and the Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Finance and Economics all stated in their speeches that they will coordinate resources, make reasonable arrangements, and continue to support team building and development.

The successful holding of this promotion meeting not only unifies the understanding of the full-cycle construction and task promotion of the excellent innovation team of philosophy and social sciences ‘low-carbon economy and industrial development’ in Jiangsu province’s universities, but also helps to build a first-class social science team in the province and even in the country, establish a first-class social science platform explored a new way.
