Shi Junguo, a teacher at the School of Finance and Economics of Jiangsu University and the Institute of Industrial Economics of Jiangsu University, is currently engaged in post-doctoral research at Seoul National University in South Korea with funding from the China Scholarship Council. Facing the severe domestic COVID-19 epidemic, Mr. Shi Junguo overcame difficulties such as language barriers, poor communication, driving at night and in rainy and foggy weather, and immediately joined other overseas students to actively participate in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic. He had successively purchased various medical supplies such as masks, protective clothing, and goggles for domestic universities, hospitals, and enterprises. Among them, Mr. Shi Junguo donated more than 500 antivirus masks to the community and poor people with the scholarship he accumulated.
Mr. Shi Junguo always maintained a high degree of patriotic enthusiasm in the process of raising and transporting medical supplies. He said, "Everyone should do something within their capacity. Wherever there is a need, we should be there. Our responsibility is incumbent. ."
