On May 8th, Zhao Chunming, distinguished professor and doctoral supervisor of the school of economics and business administration of Beijing Normal University, made a thematic report entitled “double cycle new development pattern: background, foundation and construction path” in the lecture hall on the first floor of the library. The report meeting was presided over by Professor Li Hongbo, deputy secretary of the UCPC Party committee. Teachers and students from the school of Finance and economics listened to the lecture.

Starting from the theoretical origin of trade freedom and trade protection, Professor Zhao's report analyzes the new trend of economic globalization, deeply analyzes the historical evolution and effectiveness of the policy of expanding domestic demand, and then puts forward the main path to build a new development pattern of double cycle. Professor Zhao's report was informative and easy to understand, which won bursts of applause from the teachers and students present. Finally, Dai Yelin, Secretary of the Party committee of the college, made a concluding speech. Secretary Dai called on the faculty and students to seize the opportunity to learn from famous masters, and encouraged those interested in academic research to pursue further studies, study knowledge with famous scholars, and explore the way of life.
