On January 14, 2022, a report on the mid-term results of the Jiangyin Qishan Lake Science and Innovation Valley Industrial Development Plan (hereinafter referred to as the Plan) was successfully held at the Old Decision Center on the third floor of Jiangyin Municipal Government. Mayor Bao Ming of Jiangyin City, Executive Vice Mayor Zhao Qiang, Vice President of Jiangsu Suhao Holding Group Co., Ltd, Visiting Professor Zhou Qian of Jiangsu University, Professor Hu Xuhua, President of Jiangsu University Industrial Economics Research Institute, Jiangyin Organization Department (Talent Office), Government Office, Development and Reform Commission, Science and Technology Bureau, Industry and Information Bureau, Capital Planning Bureau, Business Bureau, Chengjiang Street, Yunting Street, 'South Expedition ' Office, New League of Nations Group, Urban Development Group, Public Utilities Group, Wuhan University Science and Technology Innovation Research Center and Jiangsu University Industrial Economics Research Institute members attended the mid-term report meeting. The meeting was chaired by Executive Vice Mayor Zhao Qiang.

Firstly, Professor Hu Xuhua, President of Jiangsu University Industrial Economics Research Institute, introduced the background, process and main framework of the Plan, and focused on the idea of constructing the modern industrial system of "4+5+2" in Jiangyin Qishan Lake Science and Innovation Valley and the five projects and five actions to be implemented. Secondly, Vice President Zhou Qian further demonstrated the scientificity and feasibility of the "4+5+2" industrial system in the Plan in the light of the evolutionary trajectory of science and technology innovation in the new development pattern and the innovation development experience of Japan, the United States and other developed countries; again, the main persons in charge of various departments in Jiangyin City discussed in depth the content of the Plan and the ideas for its implementation; finally, the leaders of Jiangyin City gave a speech on the "4+5+2" industrial system. Finally, the leaders of Jiangyin City expressed their heartfelt thanks to Vice President Zhou Qian, President Hu Xuhua of Jiangsu University Industrial Economics Research Institute and the team members for their efforts in the industrial development planning of Jiangyin Qishan Lake Science and Technology Valley.

The successful holding of the mid-term report meeting of the Plan not only provides an important reference for the finalization of the Jiangyin Qishan Lake Science and Technology Innovation Valley Industrial Development Plan, but also provides an effective path for Jiangyin to make Qishan Lake the most leading, identifiable and attractive hard-core area, and successfully promote Jiangyin to realize the historical transformation from "strong manufacturing county" to "strong intellectual manufacturing county".
